TCU Proposes New Pike County Jail Facility

On Monday, July 23, 2018, TCU Consulting Services presented the Pike County Commission seven possible options for a new 129-inmate facility.

Six of the options would situate a three-story jail adjacent to the existing Courthouse, while the seventh option was a single-story facility to be situated near the Pike County Road Department/Engineering building. Approximate costs for such a facility are between $19 million to $28 million.
