Pike County Commission Votes to Build Jail Off-Site

On Monday, February 25, 2019 the Pike County Commission voted 4-1 to move on to Phase II of the new jail facility and have TCU Consulting Services begin a more in-depth study of all off-site locations.

In making the motion, the Commission agreed to have TCU Consulting Services do more research to compare the sites so that the County Commissioners can consider all of the pros and cons of each site and make a decision for the location of the new jail.
